SpecialtyGuy’s “keeping it real” message touches all ages. He uses his experiences of playing football and relates it to real life knowing that we have all been knocked down, faced adversity, and have had obstacles stand in our way. Through biblical principals Guy hammers home his points with a strong message of hope in Jesus Christ. bioAn all-around athlete in high school, Guy excelled at many sports. In basketball, he was an Honorable Mention All-American, All-Kansas team member, and received All-State honors. In golf, her received All-State. After high school Guy attended Independence Junior College on a basketball scholarship. He began playing football there his sophomore year and was All-Conference and All-region. He transferred to Chadron State College where he received All-Conference, All-Region as well as All-American in football. In 1993 the Washington Redskins signed him as a free agent. In 1994, Guy played in the Grey Cup for the Baltimore Stallions of the CFL winning a championship ring. He continued to play professional football for two more years until he felt a calling on his life into ministry. Guy currently lives in Texas with his wife and children, Jordan, Jeremiah and Isabella. testimonyIn my eyes, I knew I needed a change in my life. I was getting nowhere. The night life while playing professional football in the NFL was leaving me empty. I went to church, but still felt empty. Then it all came together for me. On January 10, 1995 I walked into my bedroom and got down on my knees and accepted Christ into my life. Today I no longer feel empty inside because my life has been changed. Hebrews 12:2 says, "Let us fix our eyes upon the author and perfector, the finisher of our faith." Rather than focus on religion, I chose to focus on Jesus, who changed my life.
