Bio
Jason is unpredictable. And he likes it that way.
The sought-after author of “Undressed: The Naked Truth about Love, Sex, and Dating” and “MySpace MyKids: A Parent’s Guide to Protecting their Kids and Navigating MySpace.com,” Jason is a rogue entrepreneur, constantly following his desire to infuse faith into culture. He could be described as a talented speaker with over 10 years of experience, a refreshing television personality or even a successful corporate executive, but his growing influence seems to defy the need for a label.
Jason has appeared on ABC’s “The Bachelorette,” The Tyra Banks Show and has even been mentioned on Jay Leno. He has also spoken to the House and Senate, given keynotes and relationship talks all over the country and started a website for parents to understand the MySpace phenomenon (www.myspacemykids.com). Most recently, Jason has
been found devoting further effort as the new Director of Content and Programming for the popular online Christian network, GodTube.com.
Regardless of how you describe him, Jason brings an insightful and refreshing view to life. Because of his raw and inviting approach, Jason has appeared on numerous television shows, including The 700 Club, Living the Life, Celebration, The Hour of Power, The Joni Show and many, many more.
Jason’s first book, “Undressed,” shattered the stereotypical Christian dating process, addressing controversial issues such as “how far is too far?” with style and panache. His second book, “MySpace MyKids,” helps parents understand the power of social friendships and how to protect their kids in the virtual environment. Jason’s company has partnered with MySpace, Inc., to be a preferred provider of safety information to the most visited website in the world.
Jason graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a BBA in International Finance and continued his studies with the London School of Economics. He was named one of the top 20 students in America by USA Today, was a finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship and was an NCAA Academic All-American while being captain of the TCU football team. After working for a multi-billion dollar investment management firm, Jason started his own executive management company and trained with the Stagen Institute, a nationally-recognized transformational leadership institute dedicated to coaching executives and entrepreneurs.

testimony
When I was 17 years old, I attended a Fellowship of Christian Athletes football camp in Flagstaff, AZ. I thought I was there to play football. The Lord had different plans.
Up to that point, I was a “good” kid. You know the type. I had all the “good” things listed on my resume—I attended church, I was an all-state athlete, I graduated at the top of my class, blah, blah, blah. And in this world, those things will get you pretty far. But God and Salvation aren’t of this world. Our worlds were about to collide.
The director of the camp decided to give an award at the end of the week to someone who “exemplified the most Christ-like behavior.” I thought it should be me. Ironically, just that thought should have disqualified me from participating. As to be expected, I didn’t win the award. But a quiet, humble and thoughtful kid from a small reservation town did. When he went up to accept the award, he prayed for us. And that is when it hit me. For the first time in my life, something was out of my grasp. This kid had something I didn’t—he had a living, breathing, powerful relationship with the Savior. And I couldn’t earn it, strive for it, win it, work hard for it or overpower it. I had to surrender. I’d never surrendered before.
Some people speak of fireworks or a shout from Heaven when the Lord calls them. Mine was more of a soft whisper. As I sat there praying amidst the crowd of athletes, the Lord revealed to me how I could earn cars, houses, honors and awards; and it would never be enough. It would never fulfill the need for Christ that I felt in my heart.
I’ve been a Christian almost half my life and I still don’t have it perfected. But I’m finally learning how to walk with a perfect Savior. And that makes all the difference.
